TEXAS PIGEON ASSOCIATION

2004 Pigeon Show Results

May 22, 2004 Lawn Show
Held in Grand Prairie, Texas

The TPA had a very good turnout for our spring Lawn Show. Over 35 members attended. 63 birds were exhibited including 10 Junior entries. We had 14 NPA breeds and one non-NPA breed. A number of members brought birds to sell and trade. TPA secretary-treasurer, Fred Langridge and his wife, Johnnie, sold NPA bands.

After breed judging, Vice-President Larry Hart cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and many members brought side dishes, chips and desert items for a pot-luck lunch. Following lunch the Junior show judging was held and then the Group and Best in Show judging. A silent auction raised over $80 for the club.

Most everyone appeared to have a very relaxed and enjoyable day.
